Boldface is all about community and inspiration, so why let the fun end when the day winds down? Join us in the evenings to show of your work, network, and support your Boldface fellows at one of our evening events. These relaxed occasions are a highlight for many of our attendees.
Outside of the events Boldface host, Houston has a thriving literary scene. Why not branch out and sample some of the other cool venues and events our city has to offer?
There are three evening events during the course of Boldface’s week-long celebration of all things writing. The first two are readings and open mics. The third is a capstone party. The readings and open mics will feature visiting writers, Boldface faculty, and an open mic for students of the conference. The third is a capstone party to celebrate the end of another Boldface and the beginning of new phase in our writing! The final party celebrates the entire week of workshops, craft talks, mentorship, networking, learning, and growth. Join us as we celebrate the joy of writing!
